What we do
SIA provides a forum for discussing industry issues and developments, and managing industry change. As the voice for the securities industry, we represent the industry on non-competitive operational, policy, regulatory and legislative matters issues to strengthen and grow New Zealand’s financial market ecosystem. We do this through engaging with our key stakeholders including government and regulators, contributing to consultations, and making formal submissions on issues important to us.
SIA's Representative Members meet regularly to discuss the work programme, key issues and priorities, and working groups convene as and when required to address current issues.
